Sr. Analyst, Fraud Risk-2103579


The Sr. Analyst, Fraud Risk helps effectively control the fraud risks for Company's portfolios and supports the drive to sound risk management practices through data driven decisions. This position will assist with the analysis of various types of fraud as well as reviewing fraud strategies, evaluating fraud trends, explaining fraud losses, identifying and assisting with the closure of gaps and related deliverables.

  • Assists with the creation and continued evaluation of existing acquisition fraud rules to mitigate fraud risks
  • Assists with the identification and implementation of key tactical rules that will mitigate fraud losses
  • Assists with the identification of fraud risk trends, material gaps and help drive mitigation strategies
  • Assists with the preparation of periodic deliverables, rules status reports and presentations to keep all levels of management abreast of key milestones, alternatives and potential risks
  • Builds relationships with internal and external business partners and industry peers to facilitate information-sharing opportunities and identification of best practices in regard to internal risk
  • Conducts said training to junior team members and colleagues as needed
  • Gathers, analyzes, aggregates and reports on risk data
  • Participates in critical projects/committee within Fraud Risk Management and/or in partnership with various business line initiatives.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5 years; Risk Management/Controls
  • Ability to analyze risk and provide recommendations and/or resolutions to minimize risk
  • Ability to build and foster internal relationships
  • Ability to change direction as project demand dictates
  • Ability to effectively and clearly communicate instructions to others, summarize and articulate issues, and document findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to interpret, analyze and apply data/information

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking
